I completely love this game, I have over 500 hours on the PC. And when this came out for the iPhone I was so excited, everything is there, except the controls. They completely destroy the experience- the frustration of having to do so much to complete a simple command and how difficult it is to move. please fix this and this game will most definitely get 5 stars!

I have 180 hours on my PC for the original dont starve and what I have to say for the mobile version is that its still amazing. Not to mention they included the Reign of Giants DLC pack/expansion. This game doesnt hold your hand which I absolutely love. Its unforgiving and theres no respawning(unless you have a touch stone activated or youve built built a meat effigy) and the art style is unique like it was made by Tim Burton. Give this game a buy I would 100% recommend it.

Im playing this on the iPad. I cant imagine this being played on an iPhone. The controls need to be overhauled. There needs to be a "joystick" for movement and easier action buttons. I also cant tell the names of the items I have because the option for them doesnt include item name. This product feels rushed.

This game is really fun and Ive put hours into it already. First play through, I got to day 20- no problems. This time, Im only on day 7 and every time a tree grows near me, my game crashes. Please fix; love the game!

I love the game however it crashed once when I was not suspecting it and this was a while since my last save, however, now its gotten worse. It crashes almost immediately after I do something.

Once the game came out for PlayStation®4 as a PlayStation®Plus line-up I started playing it right away and since then I cannot control my addiction with this game at all. Now that I have its pocket version, I can play whenever and wherever I want to. Its a bummer that it doesnt have a built-in multiplayer.

While I own the PC version, I never really got too into this game until I bought it for my iPhone. Now that I did, I am beyond hooked. Im not really a fan of survival-crafting games either... Minecraft? HATED it. Junk Jack? Couldnt get into it... Terraria? That would be a no-go. It wasnt until Crashlands came along that I really got into a crafting game. It is absolutely one of my favorite games of all time. So I figured with all the comparisons being drawn to Dont Starve, that I should check it out. It didnt grab me at first, like I said, but once I really got into it and saw how truely HUGE this open-world game is, I was done for. Im now on my 48th try, with my best being 14 days. It was a really good run, but I wound up killing myself because of the map set-up and complete lack of Buffalo. But that experience unlocked the woodsman guy (whos Ax hums or something?). Its crazy how much the little perks make a HUGE difference in the gameplay and how you can approach the entire thing. Youve already got so much leeway when it comes to choosing your own path that its kind of hard to believe that little perks to the characters can make such a huge difference, but they really, really do. If youre new to the game, stick with it. Once you unlock the librarian and have (IMO) access to one of the all around best characters in the game, itll really grow on you, and youll be able to take everything youve learned while playing with her and apply it to other characters while learning how to deal with survival with their attributes. I can not recommend this game enough. Even though the controls are a little wonky at times (trying to plant something while having an ax equipped??? OMG!!!) and eating/cooking takes FOREVER because you cant just cook all or eat all, so theres at least 3 taps in between each food item in order to keep eating (thats after you get the controls down and know exactly what youre doing). But still... 5 stars in my book. Its a game that EVERY iPhone/iPod/iPad owner should have on their device.
